Geometry To Point

This node returns a GeoSeries of points representing each geometry. There are two types of points, centroids and representative points. The latter is guaranteed to be within each geometry.

The node is based on the GeoPandas project and uses the following related information and functions:

• GeoSeries.representative_point
• GeoSeries.centroid

Input ports

   Geo table

   Table with geometry column.

Output ports

1. Type: Table
   Transformed geo table

   Table with transformed geometry column.
