Query and Visualize an E-Commerce Database

Challenge description:

You work as a data engineer at an online retail company. The company operates mostly in Brazil and sells a broad range of products: from computer accessories to housewares and sports equipment. The managers of different departments (e.g., Finance, Sales, Logistics) have heard about the ability of AI to drive the generation of fast insights from data. In particular, they are interested in the application of AI for the extraction of data from the company's e-commerce database without the need of writing complex SQL queries.

Your task is to create an interactive and dynamic dashboard that allows your colleagues from different departments to query the database and its tables using natural languages (e.g., English). Behind the hood, the dashboard should use an LLM of your choice to convert the request into a proper SQL query, fetch the data from the database, and dynamically display the extracted data (or a sample of it) in a table. Additionally, the dashboard should also dynamically provide one or more data visualizations of the extracted data.

Lastly, write in an annotation 5 meaningful example queries in English, so that your manager can try out your AI-driven dashboard before sharing it with the rest of the company.

Key requirement: You must rely on the KNIME AI extension to interact with the LLM of choice for the generation of SQL queries.

Outcome:

An AI-powered dashboard for interactively and dynamically querying, fetching and visualizing e-commerce data.
Deliver your solution as a separate workflow and name it: Solution_Round_4_<your_team_name>. Place your solution workflow in the same folder of this challenge workflow.
