Introduction to CDDS
KNIME’s new CDDS extension for KNIME Business Hub adds the ability to automate the end-to-end process of deploying data science solutions safely into production - empowering large-scale dissemination of data-driven insights across the enterprise. Through its intuitive UI, users can easily deploy their data science workflows, check their validation status, as well as monitor and retrain them once in production, while administrators can oversee the entire deployment flow. The extension includes a set of KNIME workflows and flexible data apps that help administrators ensure only validated solutions are deployed. CDDS leverages key enterprise features of KNIME software such as integrated deployment, KNIME Hub spaces with defined execution contexts, workflow triggers, and more. The extension is customizable and allows for enterprise teams to add validation and governance capabilities, use the company-wide archival structure for auditability, or change monitoring and retraining strategies.

Make the most of CDDS with Integrated Deployment
KNIME’s Integrated Deployment capability enables the creation of workflows from workflows. Use Integrated Deployment to capture workflow segments to apply a model within the workflow that creates the model. Keeping the model creation and model application logic together in one workflow helps to automate the MLOps process. It also keeps the model creation and application logic always in sync.
Capture workflow segments and save them to a KNIME Hub space
Use the Integrated Deployment nodes within a KNIME workflow to generate workflows from a workflow. Use the capture nodes to capture segments of a workflow. Use the combiner and writer nodes to assemble a workflow and persist the results.
