This is a basic six sigma Xbar-S control chart implemented as a KNIME component. Sigma values are calculated using pooled standard deviation method with unbiasing constant. Configure the component to chose column with decimal values to investigate and column with subgroup ID in connected input table. In component there is following possible configurations:

• Selection of column value to investigate (Numeric)

• Selection of column with subgroup ID

• Display of control limits at multiple of standard deviation (1 to 6)

• SPC chart tests to show in graph (1 to 3)

Output from component:

• Table with analyzed data:

  • Subgroup mean and std dev values

  • Count of values in each subgroup

  • Control limits of 3 sigma

  • Control limits on visualized sigma (1 to 6)

  • Test results (1 to 3) on 3 sigma

• Calculated mean of all subgroups as flow variable
