Components and Configuration Nodes

This workflow shows how a configuration node affects a component with examples of String Configuration and Value Selection Configuration nodes. Components' configuration dialogs expose what is defined by the configuration node(s) inside. In this workflow, one component allows for defining a country as String (from the String Configuration node inside); the other component allows for selecting the country in a menu (from the Value Selection Configuration node inside).
