Event Planning with Geo-GenAI
Challenge description:
The Event Manager in your tech company needs your help. She has to organize a corporate event in Berlin with an estimated attendance of 100 people. The event will last an entire day (8:30 AM - 6:30 PM), include several talks, and coffee breaks and lunch will be offered. Optional: the possibility for the attendees to stay overnight at the event location at their own expenses.
As the data analyst and AI expert in the company, the Event Manager asks you to help her automate the venue selection process. Interact with the LLM of your choice to obtain a list of venues that could be suited for the event, requesting information on different dimensions (e.g., location, amenities, capacity, catering, estimated costs (if available), etc.). Implement one strategy of your choice to mitigate the risk of hallucinations (e.g., a simple guardrail in the prompt, RAG, validation of information via web-scraping, etc.).
Perform a sort of cost-benefit analysis with the AI-generated information, considering also one more requirement: the proximity to the company office. Take as a reference the address of the KNIME office in Berlin: Körtestraße 10, 10967 Berlin.
Deliver to the Event Manager a static PDF report with the best, shortlisted 5 venues, their proximity to the office, and their locations displayed on a geospatial map.
Key requirement: You must rely on the KNIME AI extension to query the LLM of choice, and on the Geospatial Analytics Extension for KNIME.
Outcome:
A static PDF report with the best, shortlisted 5 venues, their details, and locations on a geospatial map.
Deliver your solution as a separate workflow and name it: Solution_Round_8_<your_team_name>. Place your solution workflow in the same folder of this challenge workflow.
