This node performs quantitative orientation measurements according to the ImageJ plugin OrientationJ 1 by the Biomedical Imaging Group (BIG) . It is able to extract the following features from an image: energy, orientation and coherency. A brief theoretical background can be found here .
A Laplacian of Gaussian filtering can be applied as an preprocesing step to the images.
Input must be images with only two dimensions. If needed, images can be sliced with the Image Cropper node.
