Exercise 02b Application testing

Learning objective: In this exercise we we test a workflow segment that performs general data pre-processing for restaurant data. The segment was captured with integrated deployment nodes.

We also keep information regarding whether the test passes or not for future reports.

Workflow description: This workflow showcases the aspects of building the application test. Find below the three major tasks performed in this workflow

The data is read from the golden tables and provided to the data transformation workflow that is being tested

The output of the data transformation workflow is tested against a golden data and the test status is decided based on this validation

At last, the test status along with the workflow metadata is tabulated and exported by means of workflow service nodes
