Apply Items (WebPortal)

This workflow can be used to apply a bundle of repository items to a server. The bundle needs to be created with the Bundle Items workflow. This workflow will create the directories for items that do not exist. Paths for the items will be taken from information contained in the bundle. Therefore, exactly the same paths are used on the server where the bundle is applied. Snapshots for existing repository items are created automatically.

Depending on the options selected in the bundling workflow, following items will be deployed:
* Repository items (Workflows, Data, Components)
* Schedules (existing schedules for bundled workflows will be removed beforehand to ensure that exactly the same schedules as in the bundle are available afterwards)
* Schedule permissions
* Workflow properties (existing properties for bundled workflows will be removed beforehand to ensure that exactly the same properties as in the bundle are available afterwards)
* Item permissions

This workflow is meant to be used as a WebPortal application. It allows you to upload a bundle, review the information that is about to be deployed and in the next step performs the deployment.
This workflow can support users to deploy a bundle in a more visual and manual procedure. In order to integrate the deployment in CI/CD pipelines, please have a look at the REST variant of this workflow.

Initially, the user needs to adjust the variables set in the Variable Creator node.
The workflow can also be executed from a local KNIME Analytics Platform as well.
