An agent that assists procurement teams in analysing supplier proposals and running long-tail supplier negotiations. This includes: - Extracting the key commercial and contractual terms from a supplier proposal, whether an existing case or a supplier email pasted into the chat.
Retrieving internal supplier history and scoring the offer against past performance and pricing.
Handling new suppliers with no internal history honestly — analysing the contract terms and being explicit that the price cannot be benchmarked.
Calculating a counter-offer and drafting a supplier-facing negotiation email.
Comparing several suppliers for the same need and recommending an option, weighing price, terms and risk.
Every supplier-facing email is presented for human review, and is only sent after explicit approval.

Before using the agent, make sure to:
Load your own OpenAI API key in your Secret store on KNIME Hub (https://docs.knime.com/chub/latest/community_hub_secrets_guide/) and pass it to the tools that use an LLM to extract or draft text: Supplier_Intake_Extraction_Tool, New_Email_Intake_Extraction_Tool, and Draft_Email_Tool.
[Optional] Provide email credentials to the Email_Sender_Tool if you want the agent to actually send approved emails.
