This workflow analyzes data about restaurants in Seattle to determine the optimal location for opening a new restaurant, considering five potential alternative locations. It shares a similar objective with another workflow example, which has been linked below (Site Selection - Geospatial Analytics).
The restaurant data is limited to a specific area within the potential alternatives, where three distinct isochrones have been calculated. Isochrones represent areas where it takes the same amount of time to reach a designated point, in this case, the candidate location for the restaurant.
The Road Network isochrone map node calculates these three areas, while the OSM Road Network fetches data about the streets surrounding our point of interest. This node is preceded by the Buffer node, which restricts the downloaded streets to an area of 500 meters around the candidate points, thereby expediting the process.
