This example workflow shows how a KNIME workflow can communicate via a MCP Server, somewhat mimicing an MCP Client. It is not a full MCP Client, as it does not communicate with a MCP Host or keeps track of the connections. It does showcase the results of e.g. listing or calling tools.
Especially note that no information of the available tools needs to be given here, as this information comes from the MCP Server. The server can be any MCP Server, and this example uses the example MCP Server described in the blog post linked below.
