The "KNIME Hub Migration Validator" is a workflow designed to ensure a seamless transition after migrating content from KNIME Server to KNIME Business Hub. This automated solution scans all workflows currently in the KNIME Server, examining each node for potential compatibility issues that might arise after the migration process.
The mountpoint to analyzed is choosen by the user by means of the selection of one of the two Connetors available in the orange area.
This workflow acts as a reliable guardian, identifying any nodes that may not function as expected in the new environment. It inspects and evaluates node's configuration and linked components to spot compatibility issues with the KNIME Business Hub infrastructure.
A folder named "Nodes to update" is created in the workflow data area, and it contains the .csv file visibile in the final view.
The workflow goes beyond identification by offering tailored "Recommended Actions" for each specific node. Additionally, it features a comprehensive dashboard that consolidates the results, providing users with a centralized view of the overall compatibility assessment.
