Description
This workflow was created to support a KNIME forum query regarding the whisker rendering behavior of the standard Box Plot node.
It provides a side-by-side comparison of three different implementations: the standard Box Plot, the legacy Box Plot (JavaScript), and a custom component. Using the benchmark dataset from Wikipedia's box plot article, the workflow visually highlights how the standard node appears to draw its whiskers to the calculated theoretical limits, in contrast to the other methods which use the adjacent data values.
The purpose is to offer a clear, replicable example for discussion and clarification with the KNIME community.
