This component connects to an instance of the ChEMBL database and retrieves molecular activity data. It should be connected to the output port of the ChEMBL Activity Type Selection component. By default, compounds with anomalous (out-of-normal-range) activity or a non-null data validity comment are filtered out; however, these can be optionally re-included through the Interactive View/WebPortal of this component.
For this component to function properly, the ChEMBL DB Connection variables must be defined at the workflow level. These variables can be set using the ChEMBL DB Connection component.
